Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)

The Rotary Leadership Youth Awards is a one-week camp that brings together students from all over District 5110 (Oregon and Northern California) who will enter their junior year in high school. The club sends a total of 10 to 16 students each year. Some of the students who attend have described themselves as natural leaders who learned new ways of leading that brought out those skills in others who weren’t as confident. Others said the experience showed them they are not alone in feelings of youth insecurities. But all agreed it provided a “life-changing experience.”

This year the Rotary Leadership Youth Awards will take 12 students.
